For the car buffs out there, SPEED is showing the Barrett-Jackson Auction in HD all this week also. First look at what to expect from SPEED HD.
Got it, and love it. $49 for Pixelmator alone is a bargain and other things like AppZapper and CoverSutra are well worth the price tag. Thanks MacHeist and TUAW!
Must I point out that it is not connected to a MacBook, but rather an iBook G4?
By the sound it almost sounds like a LMP car. Definitely not something for the street. Thats assuming the sound goes with whatever is being announced.
Its not an F1 car, the shifts are too slow, and I don't think its a motorcycle because motorcycles don't typically do burnouts when they take off, but its a high-revving engine of some sort.
Actually, I work at an Acura dealership and we ARE giving away iPod Nanos with new cars, even though most already have XM as well.
I've had PGR 3 lock up a couple times since the update and it never did it before. Also seems to log out of Live randomly sometimes.
I'd like to see Speed Channel go HD. Racing (especially sports cars and open-wheel cars) would be some of the best HD content.
This report is faulty. Of course congestion is going to be higher when the carpool lane is in use. Its in use at 6-10AM and 3-7PM, which last time I checked were the busiest parts of the day for traffic anyway. The only way to really test if it made it worse would be to actually remove the restriction on the lane for a week or two and then take some data. Taking data from different parts of the day is like comparing apples and oranges.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
