on xbox live you dont have to "look someone up" on COD

i consider myself a person that uses his xbox alot... and i still have the 20 gig hd that came with my launch xbox and i havent purchased any new hard drive of any sorts...nor do i give a crap about paying 50 dollars a year to use xbox live, if you hate microsoft, then ANYTHING they do will make you mad, or hate them more.

now i used to game a bit on a pc... but from when i used to you always needed some other software to have any sort of friend list, or always had to have aim open to talk to people.. the xbox live service is seemless, you can fire it up... get a party of 8 people... BS with each other while you each do something else, i can watch any of my netflix instant movies (alot in HD) and have access to buying a pretty hefty handful of decent games, soon can update facebook if i wanted to, and have streaming radio... i can also stream my xm using windows media player... as well as many other things... why complain? i could see if you paid 50 dollars a year to get the same sort of online "play" you get when you buy a pc, hook it up to the internet and go play *insert hip pc game here* or when you fire up a PS3, but you dont... theres no way to disagree that xbox live is a better service, so why complain about paying for it ?

why cant people just like console games and people like pc games?

my pc is used for storing music, and videos to stream to my xbox and to use the internet

maybe i should buy a PC and then have to buy a 300 dollar video card every couple years and new power supplies and ways to keep the thing from running at 100 degress Celsius...

of course in the grand scheme of things a PC is a more powerful and you get benefits, but it costs money and time to keep a PC up and running all the time.. i bought an xbox 3 ? years ago, whenever launch was.. and it sits in the same spot and keeps working like a charm.

the reason the iphone will still sell alot is the same reason that "paul blart mall cop" made 110 million dollars, and thats because this country is stupid :)

i cant blame people, alot of people have an iphone and use it more as a toy then an actual phone and thats why they sell... i myself have a touch pro and dont exactly need all the functionality it has, but i love the phone and wouldnt trade it in for anything...
