The same thing happens to me whenever I try to create a hotmail account. Hotmail doesn't allow my last name at all. (Billings)
I have been waiting on DTV for long enough. If it gets confirmed that I have to wait until 2010 for Windows 7 then I'm ditching Vista Media Center and moving to SageTV.
I'll take two please! (With a nice rubber coating so we can play bumber balls of course!
I love my windows mobile phone!
Well I for one was sad to see HD-DVD die, but that is neither here nor there anymore. The problem here is that unfortunately Toshiba's HD-DVD format lost, yet they won't concede and do what's best for the consumer by adopting the winning format, instead they decide to go and create....DVD-HD...
I like my solstice much better thank you very much. Much smoother and not nearly as jagged as the Sky, not to mention much cheaper. Same exact performance, handling, everything, and better looks to boot! In my opinion anyway. :-)
Poor quality HD from Satellite? You must not have looked at Dish or DTV lately. I actually ran both Cox & DirecTV side by side for awhile to test out the quality difference. DTV Is 10x better than Cox. I tested in a Phillips 42" 1080P LCD and an Epson 1080P Projector. DirecTV has better black, sharper image, and is all around a lot higher quality whereas Cox was pixelated, jagged and just a horrible image. I had Comcast back in Seattle because I couldn't get DTV where I was located and it was just as bad as Cox. For high quality HD you can't beat Satellite.
Just watching this makes me want to cry... Window scrolling is the worst thing ever... next to Vista.
I checked on their website and they make no mention of it being an actual extender, just that it can be used as a monitor for a media center. Can anyone confirm that it actually has an embeded MEDIA CENTER extender in it?
Not to mention based on Windows Mobile. Hate it all you want, but it's 10x more powerful than that "other" phone. MMS Support from the get go, removable batteries, upgradable memory, sdk support from the get go, thousands upon thousands of already compatible third party applications.. Sure it might be a "knock off" but good artists copy, great artists steal.. even apple lives by that mantra.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
