Mainly play MLG and have a 49 on that playlist but can do team slayer. Br is my main weapon but I also snipe.
To be honest I'm very happy to see the new direction that EA has gone they have launched some great new IP's that will become big in the future. I agree with Douche it's a shame innovation is not rewarded in this industry. We all want innovation yet the biggest sellers are always sequels. A lot of people are still hurting from the economy but I can see all their new IP's selling consistently till next holiday as people try to catch up with lat years onslaught.
Wat up Joystiq. Great addition makes life a lot easier!!!
Wat up joystiq. Great update!!!
I think the day they enable DTS MA internal decoding is the day they hurt standalone player sales. Everyone knows that the only real disadvantage with the PS3 compared to a standalone. Even Engadgethd called it the only reason why the PS3 is not the best Bluray player. Think about it they need to give some kind of edge to standalone players otherwise everyone looking for a full featured player Will buy a PS3 since its so much cheaper.

Don't get me wrong Sony wants to sell as many PS3's as possible it's just if they pull a move like this all its hardware partners will get pissed especially the ones competing in the under $500 players. In the end once we have some 2.0 players with all the bells and whistles the PS3 will internally decode DTS MA, thats why good things come to those whom wait.

Gears 2 will blow all away.

Hell yeah, baby. Everyone wants to see The Cole Train play!
Wow so they decide to follow the money!!! Does anyone remember when they released Lair and trashed the Wii.

"Factor 5, currently developing Lair for the PS3, deemed the Wii a "GameCube 1.5" in reference to its relatively similar technical specifications, also describing the console's audio ability as "relatively mediocre".

Talk about eating your own words, if they had any sense in the first place then they would have know better I guess.
So this will play nice with every BD title released to date I guess. got WinDVD running on my Vaio FZ and it will not play "LOST S3". Anyway I have a HDMI 1.3 AVR and my laptop has HDMI, but how can I check if I can use bitstream for audio DTS-MA.
Got a Denon 3808CI with a PS3 running PCM for Bluray and an XA-2 set to bitstream to my AVR. Come on Sony pick up the slack and either give us DTS-MA decoding, or bitstream via HDMI, or tell us the PS3 will never output full DTS-MA so we can buy ourselves a new BD standalone.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
