yeah I've had this running on my G1 in Australia since the "hack" was available on XDA, works fine :)
@Streetfights

And the tools :) awesome workshop
Just got this running in Melbourne Australia on a G1 running Cyanogen 4.3.5.

going for a drive at lunch to test it out :)
I'm currently running this (actually the 4.1.11.1 experemental) and it's fantastic.

I don't know why Google would want to shut something like this down, especially since the phones shipped with those apps anyway, this is just an enhancement on the user experience...

interesting to see how this plays out, I'm on the Cyanogen side for sure
I feel dumber having read the "PR" section of that post, and then trying to understand what it was saying....

can I have that 5 mins of my life back?
I've been in touch with Zero to see when they're getting these things to Australia, I'd be very interested in testing it out.

Would be awesome for commuting and means I can keep my R1 for weekends :)
What?!? Besides George W Bush?
Yeah I just bought a PS3 on the weekend and though after unboxing it, "I wish my harmony remote would work with this"

I got the xbox 360 Harmony remote (because I have an xbox too) so to be able to control everything.

It has been the best periferal I've bought. really cleans up the coffee table (and I don't have to buy the MASSIVE PS3 remote too)
LOL is funny though, hadn't thought of that one.

I thought it was a good pre-conceived idea
I don't think it'll get to Australia till late this year "if we're lucky", still biding my time hoping my >2yo K800i lasts till it's release

As for an Apple v Palm lawsuit.... you clearly didn't read the brilliant artical engadget put together RE: paitents that both sides had to "counter" each other if a lawsuit was bought forward by either party.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
