i for one think this is an interesting idea...skimmers and scammers already have tiny devices, so this isn't anything new for that crowd.

if you check out the website you'll see that it's not just hardware, it's the whole package that makes it what it is....photo verification, digital receipts, and a low cost add on to your phone. face it, not everyone has a digital kiosk in their pocket, but they do have a phone.
I'll take it, don't listen to anyone else, they don't really want it.
I didn't think anyone would mention the Acoustic Energy's. I love mine.

Only other I considered was the Klipsch Promedia 2.1, but definitely have no regrets about buying the Aego M's...especially considering the size difference!
I'll take it if you're giving it away...but, please tell me it's not really pink.
Well...since you're giving it away...
i don't have the need or money for these, but I am a big fan of AE speakers. I have a full 5.1 system in my living room and 2.1 on my mac. I haven't heard a better speaker for the money...and they're cheaper in the UK!

Glad to hear that they're still in the business of making good stuff
PS: DON'T buy Bose unless you can handle knowing there are guys like me snickering at you for buying overpriced, over-hyped, crap.
My first piece of advice would be to find a place where you can try out several types and brands on. I have a rather large cranium and while there are some headphones that sound great, I can't handle to wear them for more than 20-30min at a time.

Second thing to consider is the usage- if you're going to be pumping sound from your receiver at home VS your computer (on board sound) VS your iPod there are different needs. One thing that comes to mind is the Sennheiser 555's have the 1/4" plug standard and while they come with the 3.5mm adapter, that adds serious bulk to your iPod and could cause unwanted strain on the connection.

For my personal experience...
I'm not the expert that some are, however I've had Sony V600's, 7506's, and Sennheiser HD 280's. For comfort I like the 7506's, for sound I like the Sennheisers...however I'm considering some Grado's or possibly AKG's in my future. I'm yet to hear a bad word about Grado's and I think that probably says something.
As I said two days ago... I have a Seiko Kinetic and a Fossil designed by Starck.

Can I have my new watch now?
alright, I'll take it if you're giving it away!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
