This reminds me of a strectched Jag XF
I bought a 17" Compaq lappy about six months ago, later found that the right shift key is not the same size as the left shift key. I found this annoying because I use both shift keys equally and I have to constantly look or adjust to use the right shift key, which is the size of a regular key on the board. I am in the market to buy a new laptop and I've noticed that HP\Compaq laptops has a lot of this configurations. I dont want to constantly look at my keyboard to use the right shift key. The delete key should also be if possible at the most top right corner just like the escape key is positioned at the top left hand corner. This might be minor but it saves a lot of mistyping and time for me.
I might be interested in buying this 18 incher but judging from the photos I cant see clearly how big the right shift key is but the left is big and within reach.
Addition: Also Wi-fi and hard disk storage to boot?
Why is that drive not a blu-ray? You would expect these engineers to have consumers catch up to their products but its the reverse. Why rush to the market with a nice product but not up-to-date with a major component. Why why why???
"Here's a little something that might put the brakes on some buyer's 3G iPhone dreams this week"
Why all this complex about the iPhone. iPhone is a gorgeous, functional gadget, nothing out there compares. You are not forced to buy one at gunpoint. And your fantastic or crummy life goes on whether you own one or not until another gadget comes along that beats the iPhone etc, iPhone still rules. OK my point, just review a new gadget on its own merits...haha
Apple should just go ahead and acquire Elgato...already!
Do more R&D and come out with something THX-like to HDTVs that will have wireless integrated tuners and branded as such.
Combine AppleTV and Airport Extreme as another product that will deliver internet and hdtv wirelessly whether you are home or on the road.
Nah...I like their "think out of the box" design approach but their products are still overpriced and technologically backwards. I remember at one time they came out with a six-cd changer when DVDs changers were hot...hello.
PS to B&O: Mass produce in Taiwan like Apple! to bring the price down several notches!!! and still make profits like Apple!...Hello? But a bad habit (greediness) is hard to break.
B ull$hit B&O verpriced...nuff said!
The review did not mention the sizes that will be to market first?
What sizes are in the works including resolution (should be absolutely HDTV however)...
Inputs - displayport, hdmi, dvi etc?
HOLD UP!!! Let me get this straight...you think I would want to take my arms off my girls shoulder, stop touching her with my other hand, get up and start touching this motherfucking screen...fucking piece of shit...OK not really since its a big screen.
Advice to manufacturer: Concentrate on making the LCD screen thinner with better richer color contrast and anything that will make watching tv movies etc looks lifelike!!!
Peace
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
