Well, that's just craptastic.
Just when you get a great automotive show on TV, some idiot producer goes and f***s the whole thing up. I hope whoever responsible for the change in hosts reads forums/blogs like this and realizes the mistake they made...
Ditto on the OLN coverage. The first year I watched the complete Dakar Rally was it's last year on Speed Channel. Sure this year's OLN coverage is better than last year's, but that's comparing something to basically nothing.

I don't care for the speed limits. Though it's hard to argue after last year's tragedies...

Does anyone have a link to sites with torrents for the Aussie or Brit coverage?
Hands down, without-a-doubt, the best scene to music is the beach invasion in Apocalypse Now. The pairing with Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries" is perfect. Tarentino mentioned it as one of his all-time favorite scenes during an interview with Charlie Rose and one can definitely see why. I also must mention just about any movie by Stanley Kubrick. He was a pioneer in the use of music in films. Kubrick was probably the millionth director to put music to film, but he was the first to give it a central role. The manner in which he used the waltz in "2001: A Space Odyssey" and Beethoven's 5th in "Full Metal Jacket" blew the collective mind of audiences and I don't think Hollywood was ever the same again. Sadly, I'm not sure if we'll see such mastery from another director (thankfully, some are close to Mr. Kubrick's proficiency).
Sure, movie theaters will decrease in number but will they really go the way of the Dodo bird? As DVD sales increase and box office numbers decline, movie theaters will dwindle down to an elite few. Those that remain will be the IMAX and Cinerama-sized screens that can offer viewers an experience better than any home theater. As great as HD screens are, nothing quite compares to a six story Neo or Harry Potter.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
