That is stupid to think like that....I highly doubt the numbers would change that much if wal-mart was included. There are people that buy their blu-ray movies from wal-mart too......so don't use that excuse again.
Yah and you are whining now when HD DVD had 99 dollar players two weeks ago? You either bitch about both of them or just STFU.
HAHA numbers aren't out yet about HD sales this last week. We have to wait until Friday to know for sure....2:1 for hd dvd on transformers week? Please.......if Hd dvd doesn't win this week it will be a huge dissapointment.
Yah HD DVD supporters have been saying this whole "wait until hd dvd players come out" and it keeps happening....Next they will be saying "wait until 150 hd dvd players"
HAHA......and they said space wasn't an issue....BS.....Paramount was going to have lossless on Blades of Glory for Blu then we all know that happened....What I kind of find funny is how the hell you wouldn't put a lossless track on the biggest movie to come out on HD DVD? With this now it is showing me HD DVD's problems....not enough bandwidth and no space for the Best of the Best when it comes to Audio and Visual.....

Yah go ahead and say those aren't issues, but when I can get lossless tracks and great extras(will get better with 1.1) on blu-ray for paying 100 dollars more on a player, I don't even have to do a double take.

I guarantee that if matrix or batman were on blu-ray they would sell more of both those titles in the first week than hd dvd has the whole time they have been out.
TOO bad the BOGOF deal with blu-ray's this week won't give HD DVD camp a win this year now. I honestly don't know how they are going to ever win with Blu-ray still holding close to the 2:1 ratio EVEN after the whole paramount deal......This doesn't bode well at all for HD DVD
I think the transformers week will be pretty close.......ALot of stores are doing BOGOF for blu-rays the same week.......
Honestly it doesn't matter. When it comes down to it, it is all about software sales. Blu-ray has had dominance in this since the beginning of the year and continues to kill hd dvd in that front. With the lineup blu-ray has at the end of this year, I have no idea how hd dvd will last. yes they have transformers and bourne but what other exclusives do they have that will make a splash or hit on the software sales?
who the hell is honestly going to buy this POS of a movie?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
