av8or,

You believe they didn't take a payout? How can anyone trust them when they said they were staying neutral? They obviously don't care about many of their consumers. I'm sure there are many people that decided to buy an HD DVD player when numerous execs said they were going to stay neutral.

This may be a war but damages were done by direct lies from that corporation. They should have said nothing instead of lying.
Let's see.... WB said they were staying neutral a few weeks ago and now they say there is no 500 million. They are a trusting bunch, I guess I should believe them.

Yeah right....
I predict a sales slump for Blu-ray as no more BOGO's.
Hard to say, did the dreamworks and paramount titles go up in value on BD?
Delusional much?

HD DVD slaughtered BD on amazon this Christmas season. Not sure where you get your figures other than fabricating them in your mind.
Hopefully those in power take notice and prevent the 'worst' from happening again.
LOL, that is hilarious. The PS3, thwarted by the gamecube.
Another site I frequent came up with roughly 180k HD A3's if only including HD DVD.
I didn't get the impression that the 55:45 split was from Amazon alone, I thought she got those numbers from Neilsen.
I think it's remarkable HD DVD was able to keep the gap of HP to only 1.2|1 when there are over 3 million BD players and less than 1 million HD players. That just shows that HD DVD is making headway.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
