I agree - I like the additional HD space, but why don't they just make dual buffered tuners? It would put most of the Tivo vs. DirecTV DVR arguments to rest.
does Tivo have a patent on that or something?
I'm surprised that no one is really talking about the un-release of Rush Moving Pictures - the only reason I was going to dust off this game to begin with. It's 3 weeks since they un-released it! No mention of it anywhere - somebody oughta make a stink about it!
I don't get it Mr.E -
Since my receiver does NOT have HDMI inputs, the only way I can hear these lossless codecs is if the blu-ray player outputs 5.1 or 7.1 analog out (bitstream). PS3 does not, so I don't understand your statement about optical...
Funny how REAL USERS of the Kindle all tend to love it, and the negative comments come from people that have seen a little picture of one on their f*ckin PC.

I got one in November, and love it. I use it everyday, even in direct sunlight (whoever that loser was who complained about that).
Problem is, that the Donald's hotel does NOT have a casino, so you have to go elsewhere for slots. Why would I stay in a fancy hotel, and have to cab it to gamble?
Failure written all over it - a Vegas cabbie told me recently that he's been fighting for a license and has failed.
OMG will people who have never owned a Kindle, nor known anyone who does, stop bashing something they know nothing about!
Yeah, you can read the specs and say you hate it (like Sayad Mohammed or whatever) - isn't that the epitome of stupidity? What ignorance!
I've had a Kindle since November - there is a reason they've sold out - people who have played with it, used it, or know someone who has one...just love it.
I read all the time, tons of books. Kindle solved 2 of my biggest headaches - I would always finish a book, and have to wait til I went to the library, ordered online, or whatever - I hated waiting a few days with nothing to read. Kindle gives you the book you want instantly - or the newspaper, or magazine.
I also read a TON of historical fiction, and would constantly stop reading, get out of bed and go downstairs to login and look up more on a fact, or map, or something I wanted to know more about - now I just surf wikipedia instantly on the Kindle for my answer, or click on the word I want defined.
Once you use it for a book - you'll never go back - it becomes extememly comfortable, reading one-handed. Almost impossible to do with other material unless you fold it up.
Go to the Amazon site and read the reviews - the people that love it have tried it. The people, like the idiots here, that hate it have never even seen one; let alone read a book on one.
Question - is there a difference between downloading the "Xbox Original" Halo, and sticking the darn old Halo disk into the 360 (which I've got on a shelf somewhere)?

thanks
*Double sigh* What does it matter? All these potential new channels, and I won't be getting most of them because I refuse to give up my Tivo HR10-250 for a crappy Directv receiver.
I've been real hesitant about the H20 due to the no-dual live buffers, and the non-Tivo interface. One question for you users - can you do the 30-second skip, ala HR10-250?
Any other gotchas?

Thanks

"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
