Have everyone realize that there is a difference between Capitalism and outright Theft. When you take risk to improve your business and deal fairly (read within the law) with all involved and not break the law you have capitalism. When you use “Form over Function” and not follow the intent of the law but only the letter of the law, you violate trust and you are a thief. We need to punish the Thieves and let the capitalist proceed with doing business.
FYI, if you call DirecTV and tell them that you had to buy high speed Internet from another vendor, they will give you a $10 credit. I use it to offset the HD charge.
DirecTV HR20. Brighter picture than the HR10 but UI not up to TV.
My HR20 is in its third day. So far is has not been an endearing unit. The User Interface (UI) is a decade behind the Tivo. I understand others have been accepting because of the local HD channel upgrade and possible picture improvement. This household has not been won over by the new unit. We do miss the Tivo UI and Remote.

This is our Third DVR after a SD Tivo and HR10 Tivo. All units are still in use and function like new. With our first unit I performed a Weeknees update that went flawless. My only reason to update was to have local HD support without an off air antenna.

I outline these facts to indicate that we are experienced judges between the boxes. This new DVR leaves much by the side of the road in usability. The back-skip on Fast Forward or RR, the intuitive remote and UI and overall smooth operation of the Tivo software is much missed. This unit continues freeze during playback, suffer drops in audio during playback of passed programs and complicated operational controls.

I have given the unit until the end of the week to show me its charms before sending it back to the mother ship. I will get an old HR10 unit and a good outdoor antenna and live with the off air signal. Testing in progress. Hopes low

I am sorry to say your information is lacking on two fronts. No vendor of PBX equipment is shipping IP PBX systems that have SIP or MGCP gateways native to the system. Most IP PBXs IP communication is with user handsets or networking to other IP PBXs of the same manufacture.

The second item you left out are all the existing PBX system sold in the past 5 to 10 years. Most of these systems have 20 to 25 year life spans with software and hardware upgrades. No business looking at the bottom line will just dump a capital investment that has not been fully depreciated or ended its useful life. Gateways like you have seen extend the openness of existing equipment. This allows the IP trunk option to penetrate existing equipment and motivating equipment manufactures to purse IP connectivity.

"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
