Great, now I'm going to be envious of my neighbors higher income ads? What, the lack of a boat and fancy sports car in the driveway doesn't make it clear? Or a lawn that was obviously maintained by a 13 year-old, as opposed to a professional landscaper, didn't make it clear enough? I'm only average.
my mistake, that's the side of the bezel, not the palm rests. so that business about them getting filled with grit and dirt is not an issue.
Looks nice, but I'll wait to see what kind of benefits it actually brings me, and how much it costs. Last time I checked, I didn't think MBP's suffered from the problem "lacking structural integrity", so I'm skeptical if this is necessary. But it would make one heck of a strong/stiff laptop, which is nice.

...are those small holes where your palms rest? Maybe for internal speakers? That's what it looks like to me. For speakers maybe? I would hate to see what happens when regular typists start to fill those hole's with grit and skip particles, if that's in fact what they are. That would make for one gross laptop, if that is what they actually are. Not a pleasant thought, but it was what first came to mind when I saw the picture.

Well, since that's in 3.5 years, I guess I can also confirm the research too ...along with flying cars, nuclear fusion, and a shiny new robot in every home.

To make such a prediction over such a period of time, while considering the volatility of the consumer video media market, is being presumptious to the point of incompetence. Between Netflix downloads and the like alternatives, XBox Live, and whatever iTunes has to offer, it's ridiculous to think anyone has a clue what the numbers are going to be in 3.5 years.
I worry that it's going to wobble while sitting on it's backside. That could be annoying, but who knows.
This is wonderful. I personally wasn't going to join the BD club until the price-point was a lot lower (
...and Al Gore invented the internet.

"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
