@Crashnburn01 100% agree... buttons make things easier, they should better evaluate which feature can safely be hidden in submenus...
@irfan voice recognition is still not the best solution, accents, languages it'll be hard to get all supported (not to mention people with voice loss etc)
And think about the driver of the A8, his passenger may not want to hear him talking to the GPS....
Pretty much a limousine, so this A8 is meant to be driven by someone else :)
@webran61 touchscreen is the worst we can have for road safety, it requires you to look were you want to press...
While here, it's just a touchpad maybe with hard border, and just draw your letters... it's not as bad as the large touchscreen we see which force the driver to leave the road attention for precious secs.
@(Unverified) cellphone cameras aren't anywhere on par with digital cameras...
But navigation wise, Google Maps Navigation is well ahead no?
@myzter or you could take the TomtomRider (but it's way overpriced)
Any clue why the 5" series are not available in Europe ?
Now Tomtom has to come on Androids too...
600px... Come on, stop giving us such ridiculous resolutions! 768px should be the minimum to call it a computer
Yeah, weird naming it has nothing to do with French stuff
Maybe it's just like "french" fries... which again has nothing to do with France.
I'm still not a fan of these 3D realistics views, it breaks the fact that with a 3d flat map, you can see what's the 2nd turn you'll have to do (say behind a building)... So to me these realistics views are just for people who cant read what they have in front of them.
I'm still a big fan of the simple 3D given by any Tomtom unit, ergonomy wise it's still the nicest I've seen too.

(+1 for Andrew...)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
