I really wamnt Blu Ray if not for the HD picture (i have a 1080p HDTV) for the upconvert of my 1000+ standard dvd's.

I have yet to find a decent player for a decent price. I like Sony, but I have no clue what to buy.

Can anyone explain WHY you think he was cheating?

He did not break any rules. If you can tell me which ones he broke, then I will agree it was cheating, but he did nothing wrong.

How is it cheating? No one was offsides, the ball was snapped from the center to the quaterback, the QB Stayed behind the line of scrimmage, then ran it in. I call it a VERY smart play.
