Actually they are usb bus powered....so they don't require an AC outlet.
@ Don.

- Just imagined myself in a bar where everyone is smoking pot...Awesome.

That being said, Do you realize just how much pot would need to be smoke in a bar for you to get high enough to matter? A bar would be an interesting feat to hot box.

Taco bell anyone? I'll drive.
Fixing the economy: Legalize it. Less dollars spent. More earned. At the very least, a step in the right direction.
Looks awesome...but I really like my G9 and don;t think i'll be trading it in anytime soon.

Would love to try it out, I just can't trust wireless.
I read that this was a scam, and to be aware...I personally can't can't back this up, but this is what I saw....

Not the best reliable news source, I know. If anyone else knows anything, let me know.
Actually it quite possibly could. The laptop is not "made of" of carbon fiber. You need to read closely. Most sony laptops have carbon fiber frames. But this is far from being "made of" carbon fiber. The outside is cheap plastic retard. You fell right into the marketing. I was commenting on the feel anyway. No where in my comment did I say anything about the actual strength. Go grab a sony laptop on both sides of the screen and give it a gentle twist.
Yeah too bad the native resolution on all sony notebooks blows. Um yeah. I loooove 15.4 inch widescreen notebooks with a res of 1280x800. Seriously? This is just one example. Everytime I walk into a sony style store I swear my grandma has been in their playing solitaire on every laptop. (Shes 86 and can't see worth shit.) Not to mention the plasticy flimsy feel. Or maybe how they are just completely overpriced. No one can ever say "sony makes great laptops" cause they simply don't.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
