Umm... it dropped $300 because Canon is offering instant rebates until July.
It seems that here in Canada the CRTC is against multicasting, which might turn out to be nice when the broadcasters actually decide to stop twiddling their thumbs and start producing the majority of their content in HD.

Although having multiple channels of PBS is nice. It would be nicer if they weren't boxy quite often.

Especially considering CTV's "great" HD programming... oh wait that was all their imports in HD and next to none of their own... not even news.
Base models of both are $100 cheaper in Canada... finally Apple is listening.
This is all part of the conservative Feds transit plans. they are footing the bill for this though the TTC has called for more security.
They were 279.99 at launch and have since become more expensive to 289.99. An interesting business plan by big N.
In Calgary, AB they offer different rates for small cars. You have to input our licence plate when purchasing time. Oh and discounts to small cars (e.g. SMART)

"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
