I'd prefer the Envy 15 or the Zune HD, but I'd gladly take this too.
The latest version of ATVFlash makes it pretty easy to use a USB drive as primary storage. I now have a 750gb drive hooked up and iTunes can see it and recognize all 750gb.
One of the nice things about ooTunes is that it can stream WMA stations. I also really like Tuner from Nullriver, as well as AOL Radio.
This app looks cool, I'd I'll probably check it out. I've ripped lots of books from CDs into iTunes. I've found Doug Adams' Join Together an indispensable tool in this process. It will join either mp3 or aac files into one larger file, then using chapter tool, create chapter marks, convert it to an m4b file (what iTunes reads as an audiobook), and will then automatically import it into iTunes.
10.3 on an iMac was the first version of OS X used. The first Apple computer I used was an Apple II E in elementary school.
My local Walmart had 5 of these in stock last night for $178. I would have bought one, but I would like to see a review before I do. Anyone know of an actual review online somewhere?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
