Perhaps this a partial explaination of why Paramount licenced BD+? To do business with Fox (who loves BD+ madly)?
Ditto. IMAX powered by DLP. It was the best movie watching experience I've had in a long time. No 3rd and 4th generation grainy prints, etc.
So I'm an idiot. I read your comment wrong you said basically the same thing I said :-/
gamedude360, sorry dude. Only TOS and ENT are HD ready. The others were products of the '80s and '90s when editing on to video tape was acceptable. So while the raw live action was filmed in 35mm, the rest of the editing and effects were done onto video tape.
Thanks Richard, I had a hunch it was one of those quiet little simulcast channels that only DirecTV has currently.
So this may be stupid, but the only MTV channel that's HD is Palladia. So where can one see The Real World in HD? The only way I know of is through Comcast's on Demand offerings.
Keep it up Kurt, way to show Monster they can't go around bullying and filing quite possibly frivolous law suits.

And no picture is not Blue Jeans branded cable, it's a picture of the budget cable sub-brand that is being targeted by Monster called "Tartan" -- it's the same parent company (Blue Jeans).

I would love an Xbox360, and a new flat panel wouldn't hurt either!
My little 27" circa 2005 720p flat panel is just begging to be replaced by this 42" hottie :-)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
