Awesome to see Pioneer putting out some great LCD TV's. I'd still take one of their plasma's any day but these should be great too!

Vizio is great for most people. If you read engadgethd.com and are picky about your set up, you're probably not their target market anyway. I'm interested to see how these sound.

These TV's are pretty sweet. I'd take it over a smaller Pioneer KURO.

HANNspree? I haven't seen one of those in years. Only models I remember are the ones that had sports theme bezels.

Congratulations Panasonic. Good to see a long-lasting brand that can get by without a government bailout.

Vizio's stuff has been pretty interesting. I think for the price, it's good enough for the average HDTV watcher. If you are a hardcore A/V guy, it probably isn't what you're looking for.

It's a neat little add on but I can't imagine it being a deal breaker for anyone. I'd take a better deal or better picture over an iPod dock.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
