This article insipid and poorly written.
How is this different than the HD-DVD version of DVE?
Blah... blah... blah. Every time I read one of these high definition disc articles it always degenerates into pure speculation. Douche bag fanboys go home. Be happy with what you bought and shut up.
@Addex

Inferior? Look how easy it is to make blanket comments without backing it with facts.
I hear you. I've already written them a letter and threatened to cancel my subscription if something isn't done to remedy the situation. I've had it up to here with D*.

7. Get your facts strait and stop making assumptions. How long have you been involved in the home theater industry anyway. HDCP capable DVI input have been around for years. My 2002 Hitachi has a fully HDCP compliant DVI input.

About a year ago, I was faced with the issue of purchasing a 30" to 32" display for the bedroom on a budegt of less than $1K. As a self proclaimed videophile, I can not justify purchasing a budget LCD - the black level is poor and the color inaccurate. I went with a Sony 30" direct view and have been exteremely statisfied with the purchase. About the only way I would consider a budget LCD was if I simply could not spare the space required for a direct view. You simply get a better overall picture quality and a budget price.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
