not entriely, if HG was trying to make macross still relevant in the US after ADV's death over the past week they would have to actually try now, ie by painfully latching onto another distributor and re-release robotech AGAIN or try to sucker the huge amounts of cash from a company like FUNimation to license Macross ZERO or Frontier.
