The Wii's currently popularity is the Cabbage Patch Kid of this generation. It is a fad and will eventually pass.

Ah what the heck...I'm a conservative...and here's what I'm playing

COD4 (trying to finish the campaign on veteran and good lord is it hard), Halo 3 (campaign is done and MP only now), Guitar Hero III (my first version because I've been waiting on the wireless controller), Mass Effect is on the way, Assassin's Creed (own it, but it will have to wait for Mass Effect), Orange Box

Man...It's hard finding the time to play games while working full time to support you libs on welfare ;-)
I totally agree Deozaan. I saw absolutely nothing wrong with how this was covered. And though I don't think any game should be banned (which it wasn't) I do think parents should be aware of what this game contains. I mean lets be real here, this game is disturbingly violent. I'm sure some of you "kids" don't want to hear that but you know it is true.

I'm sorry but this combo is infinitely more valuable at $280 than the Wii is at $250 with or without the 1yr gold membership.
Voted down??? I'm so disappointed...But alas, its just as I suspected. There are plenty of pinkos (aside from Mr. Kucinich) rabidly patrolling these boards. You really shouldn't be so sensitive about it. Embrace your communist inner feelings...That way the rest of us can stay the heck away from you.
Pinko socialists FTL!
dang it...I meant to say

Sleep well Joystiq. I'll most likely kill you in the morning.
Break out the iocane powder boys...it's time to celebrate! Lets go start a land war in Asia. Go night Joystiq...I'll likely kill you in the morning.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
