Common stock holders will not lose their value/money. A bad bank will be done, and what the public gets for their investment is protection against the collaspe of our entire financial system. In the end, the Feds will take 50-60% of the shares and "sell them back" to the banks once viable. Got a 5 year outlook? ... buy C, BAC, UYG.

Be prepared for a blood-bath Monday. Expectations for losses are way too favorable. Poor auto sales and legal costs are going to make these puppies stink like poo.

The FCC ...doing the NAB's bidding by stalling the merger. Another failed Bush appointee.

Unless you're under 30 and under-employed, you probably don't have time to play and load an Ipod. Even if you did, Ipods offer music, not the format of listening/learning available via satrad.

As for auto sales, they are down from 16.5 million to 15.2 million.... hardly abysmal.

I'd guess the Author of this piece is 27 years old, and doesn't do his/her research.

I own Sirius stock and hope the merger is denied.
XM will be out of business in < 14 months anyhow.

Man, I like DTV so much more than Dish or Comcast...BUT...Dropped them when they dropped TIVO and won't go back until they do.

DTV without Tivo (HD) is like popcorn without butter.....

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.

"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
