All very good and accurate points, Component is more than capable, HDMI is stillbirth and the whole point of the article would seem to be to scare monger

Craig Gears Up For More Bond

I'm still not sold on craig being bond, i grew up with the franchise and love it.

I see another Lazenby happening, in that it could be a quite a good film but fans will not give it the time of day because there messing things up to much.

Why cant they just do a spin off set of movies based on the 00 theme of secret agents, then they can start afresh with a new character or/and a new time-line without having to f-up a legend.

I'm sure more 007 fans will watch a new 008 than a completely restyled 007...
