can I use these in my Chrysler Cordoba?
I've an entry-level HK 5.1 reciever and an Onkyo multi-format player for SACD and DVD-Audio mostly. B&O Redline's on the wall (front and center) and in-walls for the rear. There's an Olivia lcd connected for watching Rave on Dish Network in 5.1. I think I've played a total of 5 movies ever...mostly things like Peter Gabriel "Growing Up" and the like. Has alway been audio-based for me!
I love my 1975 Cordoba. Original 63k miles, not a spec of rust, paint still shines. Have alway owned one (or two). Got my first when I was 20...a used 1975. My Grandfather had a 77 at the same time, we worked on them together...very fond memories.
Although as a 40ish male these ads do not appeal to me, Definately would appeal to my college-age nephews. Got all the catch-items they "need". Get them interested as a first-time jeep buyer right out of school, then as they move up the pay scale ladder move onto Grand Cherokees.
Usually I like name brands, however I bought a Kolin 32" LCD, final price $720. Pic and performance is pretty good, no probs whatsoever after 6 months. We'll see how it lasts.

I also have two Apex DVD players for the kids to use, prob 3-4 years old. They beat on 'em and they just play, play, play. Guess I've been lucky.
I have a 2005 Taurus to use as a company (fleet) car. It is absolutely the most annoying vehicle I've ever been forced to drive. All the idiot bell/buzzers, the location of the seat belt when retracted, the console lid that won't stay up, etc., etc., etc. I drive 30k mile a year, a lot of highway...avg. under 18 mpg. Even though I'm due for a replacement soon, I'm holding out as long as I can to avoid getiing another one of these POS. The previous car was a 2004 Impala and it was WAY nicer all the way around.
I got my rebate in less than a week on my Kolin LCD (Syntax). Used a quick rebate program they had that deposits into a PayPal acct for a 8% fee. Fastest/easiest rebate I ever did.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
