I say whatever floats your boat, if you enjoy Guitar Hero or Rock Band so much, then go ahead and try a real instrument, if you're just casual, then just keep on with the game.

This isn't really to be unexpected. However, if the game looks a bit nicer, has better controls, and more content, it should be worth it for a PS-360 owner to pick up even if they have the original.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
