Ooh yes, it is true.
My favorite show in HD goodness. It was almost too good to be true!! Let's just hope NBC extends the contract, since it is now expired. And wow, Dr. Cox's wife Jordan REALLY looks like The Joker in high-def! Chillllllll with the botox lady!
Hell if I care. I plan on getting a PS3 whenever it comes out, but the Xbox 360 is ALL that and a bag of Cool Ranch. Sucks for the people ONLY waiting for a PS3 though. Their loss.
While the Panasonic boxes sound nice, the real question is when are the TiVo Comcast boxes coming?
Total horsecrap. I DVR'd both shows and was able to FF with no problem. Sounds like a Motorola issue to me. Sorry John, no need for a homemade PVR when both of my DVRs work perfectly find!!
His local news isn't in HD but he thought it was.
Ugh, that just kills me. And it's happened to plenty of people I know who've recently bought an HDTV. My father-in-law just bought a new 61" DLP, got the HD box from the cable company and just thought everything was in HD. He told me "wow, the local news looks pretty good in high def!" I had to sit him down and break the news to him....
The game looks great in HD. I love it. And I'm finally getting used to the gameplay. NOTE - the ZOOMED IN default camera angle can be changed to a more zoomed out / widescreen camera before the ball is snapped by pressing either the left or right trigger.
My Xbox 360 games look a tad better running at 1080i than 720p.
Howard is a God. Can't wait to see him in high def tonight AND tomorrow (In Demand, high-def Howard begins Friday) Good times.
"Backwards compatibility doesn't really matter to me, because I'll be keeping my Xbox to mod and run Xbox Media Center" Can't you just do that on the 360 without modding it? I planned on doing the same thing until I realized the possibilities of doing just about everything I wanted to do using a modded Xbox I can do with a stock 360.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
