It's really depressing that we can't use this in the States (I actually tried downloading it with a Euro account and it just boots me upon start-up.) This seems incredibly awesome compared to Microsoft and Apple's "pay us money for content you can get free everywhere else" approach to music videos.
Would just like to comment that I've been playing way too much Dragon Age, as I read the "cast-less cover" comment and imagined a 360 box living in hopeless squalor in dust town employed by a dwarven crime lord.
I was expecting writing on par with the in-game books. Ah well, I'll probably still pick it up since it's just a cheap paperback anyway. Need something to hold me over until ES5.
Morrowind and Tribunal actually had steam-powered enemies and machinery in the Dwemer ruins. The catch is that all the Dwemer vanished and apparently nobody has bothered to research their technology.
Henceforth all Australian games will be subject to a stringent approval process at the hands of the Ministries of Truth.
Wasn't this game originally supposed to be set between the events of ANH and TESB? I'm pretty sure the game has now gone on longer than the entire Galactic Civil War.
Aren't Obsidian now competing with themselves with the coming of Fallout: New Vegas in Q3 2010, or can we just expect that to quietly slip into 2011?
CRPG for sure. The amount of choice and character development in games like Baldur's Gate and Planescape: Torment can only be rivaled by tabletop gaming.
I'm guessing the other 26% are those playing their PS3s on standard def TVs.
You're saying that these devs aren't getting your money because they had the AUDACITY to run a free open beta where everybody was entirely clear that their characters would be wiped at the end? You realize that allowing people to keep beta characters alienates early adopters right? How exactly is anybody being patronized by getting a free sneak-peak of a game they're looking forward to? Are you perhaps from a bizzarro world where ponies live in trees and ice cream is made form sawdust?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
