@mk - just get the svx. It's worth it. '92 LS-L, silver, no spoiler.
Last time I was at apple headquarters (?jan 2008) there was still at least one TAM around being used for cd playback.
The description is a bit confusing - basically this acts as a USB video card on a computer, and outputs hdmi to a display. I guess that's useful if you have an hdmi-only display and a computer that only outputs VGA? Otherwise, get a cheap dvi-hdmi cable and blow the rest on your hobo bindle.
Has more to do with states that put money into transportation repairs ... we've finally passed a transportation funding bill here in Minnesota, so we can start paying for some of this stuff.

I mean, not that we'd have any reason to put money into things like bridge repairs - what could possibly go wrong?!
I just have to laugh at "Homeboy" saying the dollar and the euro are 1:1. If only that were true. And it was, in 1999.

1 euro buys you $1.52 as of today. Ouch.
That was a different engine, just happened to share the same displacement ...
I was down there for some meetings in January and I seem to recall that the front desk sign in the machines (the two iMacs at the front that you type your name into to get a badge) had been updated to the current-gen iMac with the slim keyboards.
It has airbags, just not 'advanced' (multistage) airbags.
I found that it worked fantastic in downtown SF - was accurate to within an eighth of a block. In Minneapolis, it's a bit less accurate - more like 4-5 block radius on average. Presumably due to the lower density of Wifi access points here versus SF.
Judging by how unstable and flakey Proximity (the artbox product) was, I imagine they weren't quite expecting how long it would take to make it into a mass-market product. Similar situation for Color - when it was a Silicon Color's FinalTouch, it was great, but pretty unstable. Funny thing that when you take a $20,000 product and turn it into a $1000 product, people actually expect it to be MORE stable, not less...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
