Finally got an HDTV (hand me down though) and that overscan sucks.I'm assuming there's no way to change it if it's not in the settings...

Though I guess it's not that big of a deal...but still...*sigh*
Some guy from Panasonic was on The Digital Home podcast, and he thinks that consumers in the end always go for picture quality. Funny though that the survey they didn't mention anything about brightness. Most likely it's because people associate brightness with picture quality.

Since today is Good People day, I just wanna say I think Ben, Steve, and Trent are great peeps. Keep up with the great podcast.

:)
Damn it now my other uncle just got a 5080. Every one's getting one...

Got it for a pretty good deal too. 1000 bucks. Always good to have family or friends that work in a pawn shop. :)
He knows, he's just trying to get you wasted.

Your welcome.
And I realize that you guys have talked about quality of pixels and stuff. But it's just nice to see it for yourself.
I usually listen on my iPod WHEREVER I am and get the chance.

And BTW if you guys keep it up you could even give someone water poisoning.

:)
Ben, American Psycho is the 2000 movie with Christian Bale. It sounded like you were thinking of the old hitchcock movie.

And yes there are major spoilers at the end of No Country for Old Men, which would be funny to hear what you thought of. I thought it was a great movie but was partial to There Will Be Blood for best picture.
DVD covers are always like that. It's so stupid, but for some reason they always think that the image of the most important actor is in the middle, and the name of the most important actor should be on the left(Though this one's a little different). It's like the text and image are done in two different departments.

You just lost some serious geek cred right there Ben...How could you not know that Bruce Timm just released another Justice league flick?

: )
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
