Will it be MPEG-2?
Any idea which format is selling more?
Anyone have sales numbers of HD-DVD vs. blu-ray?

Gonna watch the DVD9 of this soon.....
Pharooh's Dance
Miles Davis
HD on Greensboro TWC!!!!!!!!!!!!
Blu-ray doesn't NEED 50GB DL discs. IF HD-DVD can make great looking discs at 30GB, there is NO reason the blu-ray camp cannot produce good discs on 25GB. It's the CODEC!!!!! If blu-ray used a more effiecient CODEC than MPEG-2, 25GB would be fine.
I like the movie "The Interpreter".

IF they released ALL the Harry Potters on HD-DVD...before Christmas....that would be awesome.
Sinclair owns the ABC affiliate in the Greensboro NC market and will NOT provide TW with an HD Feed. No superbowl in HD last year. FOX is in HD on our TWC.
I looked closely at both the blu-ray and hd-dvd displays at best buy. Both connected to samsung displays. Blue-ray had a lot of macroblocks in the picture when you looked closely, hd-dvd was crisper and better looking imo.

"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
