Nice.. I want to see the instructional shows and trials.
@TIGER

Just to clarify, I wasn't referring to strike/ball calls. I only want replay for scoring (IE Matt Holliday sliding against San Diego in 2007 to win the game.) I am a fan of the Rockies, but I'm also a fan of the right call; he was out.

I don't want to slow the game down either, but I want to see the right team win.

The NHL debated doing penalty replays but settled with scoring plays. If it's gotta be done, that's the way to do it.
Baseball umpires are by far the best officials in sports. You will see the replays on Sportcenter and the umps are rarely incorrect, especially in baserunning calls. With that in mind, it doesn't hurt to supplement their calling with an advanced system (HDTV replay). However, I can also relate to the purists and the fact that things have been so good for so long that it isn't a bad thing to keep it under complete control of the UMP.

I just want to see replay for home plate calls and foul/homers..

You're my boy blue!
Yeah, let's make a business partner look bad. Let's charge more for the product. Then, let's SPEND that money helping the customer when he calls into tech support. Then, let's SPEND even more money sending a tech to the house to swap said box. Then let's SPEND even more money sending back to a warehouse to see what's wrong with it...

Yeah, let's strategically make Tivo look bad... you're an idiot..
I'll believe when I see it and when my calls don't drop as much.
I'm moving back to Comcast because they provide Fashion TV, Logo and MavTV in my area...=)
Why would this be piracy? The FCC requires any OTA channel to be decrypted. So your essentially using the cable service as a digital antenna. I would think cable theft would be taking the signal from a different source (neighbor/tap)

Correct me if I'm wrong.
@GON

ALPHA or BETA doesn't matter when the device is shown at a trade show; they are going to be critiqued if shown. That's the nature of a trade show.

Don't be so critical of Engadget because you don't agree that a device shouldn't be held to certain standards regardless of it's build.

BTW. I have a Q9C and I love windows mobile. I don't like windows mobile on touch screen devices though.
@ James

As an employee in the Denver Metro market for Comcast, your future looks bright. 6 HD channels are being tested in Greeley/CO Springs.
Well quad play is nice, but fore play is better! yes please
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
