I think the idea here is that it's a 4 port DVI (hdmi) USB + Audio KVM switch. Not exactly sure why they are marketing it towards home theater. I assume the 1/8" audio is for stereo & mic in/out from the PC. If you want to pass high quality multichannel audio it would need to be over HDMI.
Nice! I suppose if someone is going to get one of the new super thin displays it wouldn't make much sense if the wall mount was thicker than the TV
I'm not digging the silver very much. I prefer as simple a bezel as possible. No crazy shapes, curves, or protrusions (that's what I didn't like about the TH-58PZ850U ). Black would be my first choice, matte or piano finish, square corners, and as little width is necessary to contain the electronics. The screen should be what draws attention not the frame.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
