In my best Bobbi Dooley voice "Are you for'real?!??!!" I am one of the biggest Joss Whedon guy ever, and I don't think he'd even consider Firefly better than The Shield. As a matter of fact, The Wire is probably the only show better than The Shield, but I understand the omission since the shows are (kinda) similar and The Shield is more accessible. Anyway, this list is pretty much categorically wrong. It says "best" which I take to imply quality. CSI, Idol, HSM, and Survivor ain't quality!
"welcome to the party pal"
"now I have a machine gun, ho-ho-ho"
"we're in a shooting war we need a shooting ship"
After this episode its clear why they got a new showrunner. What works? The actors, everyone is great (save possibly the kid who play Tyler). What doesn't work? Everything else!! What are the stakes? Why are the Visitors evil? Maybe if I weren't a BSG fan I'd look at this through more rosy glasses, but so far I love the thought of this show way more than the actual execution.
....especially after seeing how athletic he was on SNL
So true!! I thought I was the only one who did that. I don't have a favorite movie per se, but to spare everyone time I give them my favorite that's also the most underrated, "The Professional".

The only thing I'd add to this article is the lack of mention of Gary Oldman as Stansfield. Watching him scream "EVERYONE!!!" never gets old.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
