Showtime's HD channels through DirecTV suck. The audio/video sync is terrible and always requires an audio delay to be set. Maybe they should take notes from HBO or Starz....

I can't stand how each channel has a different audio delay on DirecTV. This problem affects cable users too. It's just annoying as can be...

The majority of the audio is above the viewer's ear-level, regardless if bi-polarness. What a waste of money on audio alone. And on top of that he has a first-gen HD DVD Player, nice. *rolls eyes*

Ohhh pleeeasse!!

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.

"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
