this has happened many times. inexperienced PR interns and even seasoned veterans make mistakes. always enjoyable when you are in on it, makes for some nice new contacts sometimes. hah! ;)
#28 - thats for a portable PC, the step-child of the failed tabletpc. a video ipod as suggested by these stories would be far greater as it would be designed by apple and serve as a media device not a PC. if you want a PC/OS get a laptop.
I'm all E3'd out. I have no more juice in me. 6 years was enough. Thankfully the web coverage has become excellent. Received my E3 registration mailer, but I just can't do it.

Have fun guys!
10. As a UK citizen I find it amusing americans worry when they'll get the PS3

yes, those silly americans. they are probably the only people in the world who are pro-active consumers. of course you are reading all of the japanese tabloids and blogs right? ya, of course you are.

or is it because you have no choice other than to mock everyone else since the UK is always dead last to receive anything gaming wise (minus the select football manager titles and other various UK first) so you've developed a sort of humor about it to get you through the day. check that, australia, russia and probably many other countries are after UK. you get the idea.

a gaming site such as tothegame.com will support what i'm getting at here (shows release dates in UK/USA/NORDIC). i have nothing against the UK, I order from amazon.co.uk on occasion for alternative movie versions (28 days later, boondock saints, etc). I just have issues with those type of comments, though my ironicle rhetort does nothing to improve things, it just makes me feel better to rant for a minute.
>> Thats not microsofts style. To bulky!

You obviously do not know microsofts style.

i hope it looks nothing like this, as it reminds me of looking at the back of a digital camera.
i always enjoy a good prejudice statement, especially one about stupid americans. get used to the fact that most people who visit sites like this, and the sites you go to (if you consider yourself smart) are probably of the same intelligence regardless of nationality. because as we all know, nationality and race are the only factors in which life can determine the outcome of someone's intelligence.

anyways, what about all those rugby, fifa and club sports manager titles? hmmm...??? ;)

i'm an avid gamer, an american and i loved both ico and colossus. i also watch british television, anime and hollywood movies from time to time.
"As for these conventions... while some may only be for people 18+, the models are not always over 18 themselves. Highschool students."

dunno about that one. I've been to E3 6 times and it is rare to see booth babes under 30. most of them have that tired and worn out look going on. but hey, it's a paying job and their modeling agents just send them out at random. It's not high on the list of exposure for them to be seen at these conventions if you know what I mean.

Th eglory days are over! I think it was about 2003 when E3 just did a flip over to the masses, now it is more commercialized. What I mean by that is when it started out there were only industry professionals, then it gradually started seeing more attendees from people who might not actually need to be there. Now it seems like anyone with a 2cent website can walk in the doors, rpgfantasticfanboy.com or whatever.

Registrants should either be employees of a major/minor gaming company or require sponsorships from a major/minor gaming company. This would help weed out the nobodies in a big way.

Oh, sorry for the rant, booth babes - yea whatever, goto the after parties or get a stripper.
HDTV only content has already started. My Name is Earl had a scene where the brother (Randy) held up a sign which said something to the effect of "high def rocks" which was only visible on HDTV broadcasts. EDTV sucks. but I hope that plasma hdtv gets down to $1000. (for a 40"+)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
