Legalize and Tax Marijuana and pay for a new/better health care system.

or just give me some better HD stuff!

Thanks
any comment will do eh?

HDMI rules!
at that price you could take a month off and learn to build your own iso transformer and still have a few thousand left to blow on monster cables!
I'd use a microfield plasma protection system that surrounds the unit in a protective magnetic field.

Actually either case design will work!
The conversion will be a bummer at my place. I live off the grid in the mountains and currently get about six public&network stations analog style with an indoor antenna. I can only find three of the public's signals on my Digi tuner. OTA DTV kicks ass but I loose my access to medicore commercial network programming fo free. Good thing I can access a slingbox from here!

Anyone want to donate a kick ass antenna? ;-)

can I use my vouchers for one of these? NOT

I bought an Insignia box last week. As of now, with a passive indoor antenna from my home in the mountains about 22 miles away, I get the three digital channels offered by Denver's public television station. The pic looks great when the antenna is pointed just right. I would probably have more channels if I went for a roof mounted active antenna instead.

The box seems to work fine and is built solidly . Auto tune and other menu items are easy to figure out. Even comes with a remote. I just wish it passed the analog signals through as well because I get several commercial stations the old fashioned way at least until Feb. 2009.
I can use this prize toward credit for Virgin Galactic or a truck load of bio-aviation fuel right?

A free noise canceled flight? Count me in. I need to escape Colorado winter for Florida. FLy me somewhere warm with my ears intact!
another shot at a cool watch... u bet!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
