@Canucker Infringing on the patent hardly means they copied code and/or procedures; all it means is that the USPTO needs to get their heads out of their asses. Or have you just managed to ignore every single bad patent article on Engadge to date?
@airtime A smartphone without a data plan would let me carry just an iPhone in my pocket instead of an iPod Touch and a dumbphone.
I have to say that's it is indeed possible that this is unintended - say, parental controls that are accidentally always on instead of only when requested.
@(Unverified) You mean they don't already?
Why can't it ever be a female Shepherd in the marketing vids either?

Consistency. They don't want people thinking that they're two separate characters in the game.
Bioware still hasn't said if Mass Effect 2 for the PC will have the same PC-exclusive interface from the 1st game or share the same interface as the 360 version. Hmm...

They've released the system requirements. Controllers aren't on the supported input devices. There's no reason to do that and not use the new interface.
Codes to get it from Steam, not the game proper.
If nobody buys it, who'll find the bugs?
@Dalhectar If the network doesn't have enough viewers to sustain itself, then it *should* die.
@Martin C Most Blu-rays are blue, but there have already been some deviations, like The Incredible Hulk.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
