First glance i thought Samsung released a new model....? LG design department a little lazy or what?

I am from the Netherlands, but i do pay a subscription fee to watch analog cable. Its 15 euros. To watch digital cable i have to pay for a seperate package. To watch digital cable HDTV theres is an additional package. So if SBS decides that they also need money than i think i pay about 40euros total to watch their programming in HD.

Here in the Netherlands since this week we have the Neverending story 1 on blu-ray released by Dutch Film Works. The transfer is however not without flaws. At the start of the movie you see a lot of white specs and scratches. Also the sound is only DTS 5.1 (not the HD kind). However i enyoyed the movie.

Guys, the 2,5inch 400gig and 500gig from Hitachi are not going to fit into the PS3 because of the height. The mobile drives are offered in different height sizes. Standard is 9,5mm but Hitachi offers these 400gig and 500gig models slightly bigger. I was also looking at a bigger drive and stumbled on this limitation.

It's a pity this player doesn't decode the TrueHD and DTS HD Master Audio like its cousin the PS3 can. I couldn't wait for the s350 and s550, so i bought the PS3 instead. Would be nice if the TrueHD is in this firmware.

Lets hope it crosses the pond....to europe.

In Europe the Samsung 40F71 suffered from the lack of no 1:1 pixelmapping. A new firmware was released, but normally you need to contact Samsung and they will sent a technician. However the instructions to build a cable, the flash program and the firmware were released on the internet soon after. I build the cable myself and flashed my TV with no problem at all. The cable plugins into a special service hole on the back.

Hope they don't forget other countries in europe...

I am reading the "skate demo is great" comments and i have the same thing with the THP8 demo. I have that demo on my xbox 360 for several months now while other demo's only last for a few minutes. I am gonna download both skate demo an THPG tonight to see if they can replace the THP8 demo (which is pulled from the marketplace for some reason!?!?!).
