Far from an iPhone competitor but good enough for the sprint people. Makes me happy I picked ATT all those years ago over sprint and the rest. No one ever beat the iPod so no reason to feel bad if the phone doesn't measure up.
If there making so many of them undoubtedly there is a demand for them. The good ones don't really start until about 10K. You can get them for less but you know you're sacrificing something.

LOGIC much?
Pretty cool. That pie interface is getting pretty popular.
Stylus FAIL!!!
Whats wrong with email attachments??? MMS is for phones without the net.
What is wrong with this site? When you scroll down the page its not smooth at all. In firefox its much worse than in IE. Its still bad in IE. Is there some setting you can change. Anyone else notice it?
Thats the coolest thing I have seen so far this year. I hope they get some funding and this thing turns into something big. Implementation looks so easy. I am sure you will have to do some keyboard mapping but that can be simplified.
This is a great solution and is what most ad systems in retail stores use to send the HD Content you see running over and over at Best Buy and the like. Coax supports more than enough bandwidth to handle a measly 1080i stream. This is a simple solution and almost everyone has the infrastructure in place to handle this. I can see the price being what it is currently because QAM modulators are expensive. I have searched one out before and they were only available in professional channels and cost upward of $1000 plus.
I hate that effect the 120 hz tv does on hd movies. It screws up the frame rate. I'd rather just go with a Kuro. Plasma FTW!
Just because you would not want to buy something does not mean someone else would. Thats why they are the ones with the money. If you had to shoot down every idea because of personal feelings then we would miss out on a lot. Its a great idea and of course there is a market for this. They don't give 20 million dollars to BCS bowl schools for charity. Its a billion dollar market and heres another product to add to that.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
