how about they look at how at&t charges 9 bux for pandora for windows mobile users when pandora doesn't even charge that much.. are we subsidizing the free iphone costs?? WTF??
Not true, I've re-watched or backuped to watch commercials that caught my attention / made me laugh .. it's not often, but it's becoming much more often.. plus product placement in the tv shows is starting to come back like when tv first came out..
This would make a great gift.
I've been wanting one of these for a while.
My 8125 is too darn bulky! I know someone who has one and he says this thing rocks..
Want to fix this, force cable companies to only use cable boxes that are unlocked via cable cards. Then it'll have to work or their own systems wouldn't.
Tivo will fall unless they get in bed with a cable or sat company. I think it should be required by all providers (not just cable) to offer other means than their own boxes to get video. So companies like Tivo can continue to come up with good ideas and change the way we watch tv. :)
Other than they both use the same encryption .. :)
This is going to be fun.

I have a 62" 1080p DPL w/ firewire HD for recording, Yamaha Rx-4600, attached to my inifinity surround sound, with a DVD player of course, Vip622 Dish box, Xbox 360, Tivo Series 2, and soon to have my MythTV box as well.

I have 5 coax cables coming in to the main area, one is connected to my community cable, another to my OTA Antenna, two for Dish, and one to rebroadcast TV2 from my dish box to the rest of the house. Talk about over the top, huh? :)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
