Greg - You're very, very wrong. Toby Keith is a patriotic member of the Oklahoma Democrat Party & is more on sync with Willie Nelson and Will Rogers than any Republican. He has campaigned for Brad Henry, the Democratic governor of my state and is on the record as having supported President Obama in his run for the Presidency and, I believe, still is a supporter. I also imagine, like most Democrats, he believes that climate change and global warming are real and will affect our future generations. I've never met the man, but I have eaten at his restaurant in Oklahoma City's bricktown several times. Although I don't listen to country music on the radio, I do like his music and his message and his support for the Oklahoma Sooners.
Please remember Toby is actually a patriotic member of the Oklahoma Democrat party & often supports Democratic candidates like our governor, Brad Henry.

As another Oklahoma Democrat (and I am a Vietnam era Army veteran), I think Toby Keith is great. I don't normally listen to country music, but my girlfriend is a fan. But I know Toby has a good heart and a good head on his shoulders, and he supports my SOONERS!

Congratulations, Engadget. As a former AOL employee (I started working for AOL when AOL was still charging by the minute and stayed over 10 years), I hope your entire staff is immune from AOL's downsizing. Your site, CNET's news.com, multichannel.com, and my own sites, - OULinks.com - and - OUSportsNews.com -, are my passions. (I have also started a new site TechOK.org to promote tech in Oklahoma.) Keep up the great work! -- John Hite, retired, Oklahoma City
I think that Bluetooth 3.0 will be a likely candidate to replace IR and RF remote controls in the future.

Samsung has a fantastic remote control based on 802.11n.

Since Bluetooth 3.0 is an amalgam of Bluetooth 2.0 and 802.11n, it is 8 times faster than Bluetooth 2.0 (and I believe it is faster than 802.11n alone).

I think it is possible that all smart devices (smart phones, HDTV's, cable boxes, TIVO's and computers) might incorporate Bluetooth 3.0 in the future.

"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
