I replaced my roortop UHF only antenna with a VHF/UHF antenna to get all stations. I am glad I did that since I also get FM signals. My uncle also has a Terk antenna and can not get Channels 7 and (DC Stations) and Channels 11 and 13 (Baltimore Stations). He did get those stations on their UHF frequencies.
I have Directv and watch both HDNet and HDNet Movies regularly along with MGMHD and Universal HD. I find these channels more entertaining than premium movie channels.
After the problems both my brother and I had with our 1400 player (Samsung charged us both $50 to replace a bad component) and problems I have heard about 1500 players, I would be very leery about getting the 1600 players. Reliability of Samsung players has gone downhill. I replaced my 1400 with a Sony 350.
I contacted Samsung today and was told that Samsung has not released a firmware update for playing Fantastic 4 or Pirates of the Caribbean. My BD-P1000 will not read a cd with the 1.2 firmware update eventhough I followed Samsung's directions provided with the download.
Per today's Washington Post, the Smithsonian HD will debut on Wednesday exclusively on DirecTV.

"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
