HD stimulus: The government gives everyone an HDTV
This way I'll be able to take my HD-DVD player anywhere in the apartment. It's my baby.
Copperhead cables - a must in Arizona.
Also, the Total Home DVR update includes some other nice tweaks, like the ability to group recordings by series.
I got it in Ann Arbor, Mich., too. Totally unannounced yet totally sweet.

Everyone be jealous of me!
I called AT&T about my service in Ann Arbor, Mich., and they told me I'd get a letter when WHDVR becomes available. As a bonus, though, they upgraded me to simultaneous HD recording.

I know cable and satellite have had this feature forever, but that limitation was the only real drawback of the service.
Any more details here, like what areas are getting the rollout? Also, do the folks getting whole-home DVR already have dual-HD recording capability?
Worked like a charm. Thanks!
As far as I can tell so far, your flickr account has to be affiliated with your att.net login. Since my flickr is under a different Yahoo! ID, I don't think I'll be able to access it via the u-verse box.

I'll let you know if I figure anything out.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
