@Nick

While I can't disagree that the dialogue was somewhat ham-fisted, I understand its purpose.

At some point, comic book writers and artists were going to finally take offence at the near endless criticism of their work. I believe that, despite there being better ways of saying it, some of what the page says needed to be said.

Nobody should have any issue with Power Girl's costume - unless they believe that women should be ashamed of their bodies.
Do all comic book blogs now have a quota to fill ? One story per day complaining like a stuck record about the portrayal of women in comics ?

There's no difference here from the portrayal of men in primarily female interest media. Twilight anyone ? High School Musical ? Any romantic comedy made in the past thirty years ? That's exactly how men look and behave, isn't it ?

Boys and indeed men only have comics and video games left as industries that actually want their money. It won't be long before they have nothing left to entertain them if this seemingly endless moaning about this subject continues.

Boys like superheroes. Boys like hot women. Boys especially like hot women who are superheroes. Get over it.
I'm guessing they won't migrate to the PS3 - it hasn't been cracked yet.
The characteristics they emphasize in men are just as prominent sexual characteristics as women's breasts are. Or are you going to pretend that women aren't attracted to muscular men ?

We do have to go over this again because the people who complain about it are the true sexists. I'm not allowed to be the Ms. Marvel fan that I am because I love the character. It has to be her costume or the way she's drawn, because I'm male and I can't think past that. Same with Spider-Woman.
I get really tired of this constant whining about how women are drawn in comics.

Let me point something out to you all - Men don't look like that either. Most men aren't 6 foot plus with arms the size of a side of beef.

The only people here being sexist at all are the people who complained about the cover.
Ms. Marvel was an important part of the Civil War storyline. She had to be included.
Wasn't this supposed to have a higher resolution screen than your average netbook ?
The brick throwing jokes can stop now, going to Premier League matches is very safe - especially at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium.
It should just be a matter of updating the components within the OS that have actually been changed. Most of that 140mb is code you've already got.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
