It's like the Never Ending Story Book, but in a game ! You will play it many times, and the story will always change ! And you will probably be screaming ATREYUUUU at least once...
So it means that what developpers learned from the beginning will be used to create a brand new optimised GUI, plus integrating all the knowledge shared between PS3 developpers while using updated SDK... THIS is good news ! Can't wait to see it running !
The only way Toshiba could stop Sony and the Blu-ray to win this war right now would be.... to buy out Sony :)
Do you think they didn't make those Harry Potter bogos in same time just to shut fanboys mouth ?

If those BOGOs would have happened in same time, and for exemple, Blu-ray movies would have top the chart, over HD DVD, what would have people tought ?
Why is everybody making so much noise about DTS HD, wich is only another way to compress a signal that can be put on Blu-ray uncompressed ? Isn't PCM better anyway ?
@Nfinity

lol... you've got #1-2-3-4 only because of HP ! Do the HP BOGO on Blu in same time as HD DVD, you'll have Blu HP on top 4 and HD HP on top 5 to 8... You can't proclame yourself winner of a media format only with one bogo that includes huge titles, when all the previous Blu bogos only had old titles...

you just look pethetical there... but you seem to feel good with this....
@Nfinity

If the Blu-ray BOGOs included the first 4 HP, or even just Pirates, Live free, Ratatouille or whatever other new big hit on Blu, I'm sure the TOP 10 DVDs on Amazon would have had Blu-rays in the first 8 positions... Take off Harry Potter, what there's nothing else in top 10...

Plus, it's one of the rare occasion there is BOGO on HD DVDs... There has been so many BOGOs on Blu-ray that people probably bought everything they needed in the old titles they already needed... So unless the next Blu-ray BOGO includ brand new and popular titles, there's little chance you'll see Blu-ray titles going on first place on this chart !
I don't think there was a BD movie going on #1 because in every BOGO there was on Amazon, there was never new titles, only old catalog titles... I think they are playing their last jokers by pushing very new popular titles in a BOGO...
@Bill

IF (and i really mean IF) Universal's results are rights, and the Blu-ray still win this week, it only mean that Blu-ray supporters don't need big titles to make their format live, and this is indeed what studios need to survive: make customer buy old titles of their catalog !!!
Wes: And most people don't care about PiP and Live extras... Does it stop HD DVD fanboys complaining about the lack of this on some Blu-ray players ?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
