Voice and Data at the same time is a great feature of the iPhone.

I've also never used it on my iPhone.

Maybe, because the speaker phone sucks so much!!!!
I agree that OTA has its issues. I've been saying for a long time OTA needs to work while traveling by foot, bike, car, train, or boat. I can forgive it not working on a plane.

In order for me to be ok with not receiving OTA anymore I must receive and equivalent service free for life. Free basic HD cable from the provider of my choice with no restrictions on switching. However, the service must not require me to use provider owned equipment. Also, the provider must not be allowed to collect, retain, or use my personal information for any purpose. Basically, I want a gov run website where I log in, select my provider, hit ok. The website orders the providers equipment to connect to the feed at my house. A minute later the video signals are electronically switched and I'm watching TV. If I decide four minutes later to switch providers I just log in, switch, and the process repeats. Additonally, channels would be standardized. For example, ABC is always channel 1 or something. That way, reguardless of provider my TV/PC channel list is always right.

Alternatively, I'd be satisfied with 75% off my state & federal taxes for life. OTA is king. I will never pay for TV in my life.

What's up with the devotion to DVRs guys? Haven't you figured out DVRs are dead? The future is any content, anytime, anywhere, via streaming.
I suggest a DVI to HDMI cable. Example: Monoprice Product ID 2808 for all of $32.04.

My 56" TV only exists for my use with my PC. I've been doing it for years.
Looks way more fun than the real game. Props to the community for making the game better even if the publisher is opposed.
Anyone know how they arrived at the 19.4 pounds of CO2 per gallon of gasoline in the picture? I mean a gallon of gasoline only weighs like 6 pounds. Are they trying to roll in the entire production chain or something?
Robotic fish again? Sigh, any engineer that actually makes stuff for the ocean will tell you if it looks like a fish it'll be eaten like fish. Not to mention how sharks love to bite electronic cables and various crustaeans like to chomp on fiber optic cable. The solutions to long term environmental monitoring of the ocean have been around for ages. They're called profiling buoys and sea gliders.

I'm an MSU grad and I think this is a waste of inventive talent.
I've got a few questions for you gents after upgrading to Windows 7 from Windows XP this past weekend.

One, what mods or plugins for windows media center do you recommend? I'm primarily interested in OTA TV and playing movies (recoded or disk dumps).

Two, as a result of living in San Diego, about half of my OTA TV stations are Mexican. Windows media center doesn't seem to have any idea where to look for program guide info for these stations. Any ideas how to fix this?

Three, I installed the internet tv portion of windows media center. It looks like CBS is on board with providing content. What's up with the other guys? Alternatively, why wouldn't Microsoft push hard to make windows media center the hulu+netflix all in one? Seems like a great potential selling point to me. I mean come on, the alternative is paying Mr. Jobs per episode as if it's 1985 and you're just realized you can get VHS tapes from that amazing new Blockbuster place.

Keep up the good work!
I bought one iPhone game. It was ok but not worth the money. These days I must be able to play a demo to even consider a game. To date, every demo I have played has convinced me the game is not worth the money, even $0.99.

Piracy = Overpriced product + Lack of respect for the law.
I had the standard issue going around with the Digital River files. Apparently, they never thought WinXP 32 bit to Win7 64 bit would be a popular upgrade path. On the upside, I did get Win7 installed by using a program to place the Win7 install files onto a thumb drive in a bootable manner. I few hours later I'm up and running good as new. Win7 is great...once you get it installed.
Played the demo on Wii. Had I bought it I would have paid $0.01 also. Interesting game but that's its value to me.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
