The list I read didn't specify, but I'm assuming that's for the big-box Ultimate Collector's Edition, but even then, it's not all that great of a deal.
Shane, I do appreciate you coming here to defend yourself and your film. If Abducted Girl is indeed not about Jaycee Dugard, then I apologize, but every search I did only returned the same original story.

As for seeing your trailers, I indeed have. I've also seen Amateur Porn Star Killer as, and you probably don't remember, you used to email me regularly about it asking me to write about it. I never did as I found it, and the trailers for its subsequent sequels, not at all my bag. Though I will admit that I've not seen any of your other films, so if (names aside) they're of a different breed than APSK then I will try to track them down.

If you'd care to elaborate further how this apparent mix up came to be, I'd be glad to update the story, because, honestly, I do hope that Abducted Girl is not exploiting the story of Jaycee Dugard, or any other person for that matter. I'm sorry you've had a rough life, and I get that making harsh films is your own personal therapy, but unfortunately that doesn't come across in the stories I've read or the limited amount of your work that I've seen.
I wasn't blown away by the gameplay, but one of the worst of its kind is a bit of an overstatement considering most game tie-ins are crap to begin with. I'd say, from the demo, it joins the pile of generic titles, but not worst.
I once had to get an ultrasound because a new doctor didn't know I had long been diagnosed with a (benign) liver disorder. She thought maybe I had a tumor, so they fired up the machine for a look.

I'm positive I saw hands, feet, faces, and claws in there. At least it wasn't Palpatine, I guess.
I get your frustration, but Joss Whedon's name is only mentioned twice, and by the second paragraph it's pretty clear that the Whedon referred to in the headline is Zack Whedon, not Joss Whedon. Nothing was hidden until the very end...
Saying I'd rather have someone I don't even like, like McG, was just an example of how little I want Anderson to do it. To be clear, I don't want either of them to do it.
Ah, Hunter, but once again we loop back to my starting point that I don't think examining facts external to the events within the film is a spoiler, thus no need for a warning. A spoiler, to me, is revealing something the film itself reveals; and TFK never begins to reveal that it is anything less than factual.
Mike, this wasn't a review, it was just a break down of the film's claims for the people who are going to Google it afterwards. Though since you asked, no, it didn't make me jump out of my seat, which is impressive in its own right considering I've had a terminal fear of alien abduction since I was a child.

I think it's a bad movie in a fascinating way. You're right, though. It is a ballsy movie. The techniques Osunsanmi uses to try to blend the archival with the re-enactment is unique enough to separate it from the other 'found footage' chaffe, but it ultimately doesn't work.

It's an original movie, there's no denying that, but originality is wasted if the movie doesn't end up being any good, which The Fourth Kind isn't.
If you'd seen the film, you'd know that about 40% of it is supposed "archival footage" and that the remaining 60% is, as we are told by Milla Jovovich in the opening of the film, a faithful recreation of what hadn't been previously captured on film. At no point in time is the audience under the impression that her segments of the film are documentary footage. But again, if you'd seen it, you'd know that.

Opening a movie by telling the audience that what they are about to see is 100% true is not creative license. It's lying. It's also not particularly creative.

"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
