There's a big ol' asterisk on this report: Manhattan was not included in the survey. NYC surely would have surpassed La Jolla if 2,200 square foot apartments in Manhattan were included.
How are they handling the Georgina storyline? Isn't Michelle Trachtenberg one one of the new NBC shows this fall?
You need to change your DNS servers. Are you on Verizon, by any chance? Verizon's default DNS servers hijack web requests and return search results instead of the DNS error that causes Safari to automatically add ".com" to the URL, as it normally does.

That's crazy talk. Jaws took place on the fictional Amity Island, which is supposed to be somewhere off the coast of New England, just like the location where it was filmed in real life - Martha's Vineyard, MA.
I find it more likely that somebody in the meth/whatever other drug business later got into multiple chicken restaurant franchises as an outlet for laundering his dirty money....
Very poorly thought-out list. Just about the only ones I would agree with are Samantha, Christine, Gary.

Susan Mayer - recently had to get a second job to get by and so that her son could go to private school for free.

Jim - what makes you think he is paid well? Just the fact that he bought a house? He spoke of having to save up to do it, and he bought from his parents anyway.

Chuck - again, where do you see any trappings of wealth in Chuck's life? His computer, which he surely got a discount on at Buy More? If we ever see him driving it's a company car and he lives with his sister and her fiance, both doctors.

Kenneth - he wears the same (NBC-provided) clothes every day and we saw his apartment in an episode recently ... it was hardly the Ritz.

Betty - an assistant to a high level executive like the editor of a major national magazine could easily make $80k/yr in New York City, which would certainly be enough to pay for Betty's cramped, walk-up studio apartment.

Monk/Shawn/Patrick Jane - Natalie on Monk is constantly complaining about money, needing to get paid, etc. Shawn hardly seems well off - he drives a scooter, and I believe Gus's car is a company car. And don't forget, the story with Patrick Jane is that he made millions pretending to be a psychic before he became a police consultant.

Penny - complained about money multiple times on the show, her apartment is small, the character probably spends most of her disposable income on her wardrobe, which is the only thing I can think of that might make you think she has money.
It's "ricin," not "ricen."
So far, the U.S. version is nowhere near as good as the original series. I'm looking forward to some original storylines, because I loved the original and really want to like this remake, but every time I see an episode based on one from the U.K. series, all it does is remind me how much better the U.K. version is. Unfortunately, no matter what the writers do, Gretchen Mol will never hold a candle to Liz White. She was superb as Annie Cartwright, not to mention absolutely adorable, with a beautiful sing-song accent that could melt your heart. Every time Gretchen speaks, I find myself imagining the line being delivered by Liz White!
I've always viewed Smallville as one long origins story for Superman. As much as the show veers from traditional Superman canon, it's all about how Clark Kent becomes the man who becomes the superhero. As such, I don't think the producers will monkey with any of the core elements of the Superman story, so Jimmy's lifespan should be just fine next week. Plus, Chloe losing her memory of Clark's true identity brings the story closer to traditional Superman lore. I saw this episode as a huge step toward wrapping up the series. And Brainiac has always been made of black sludge - it's been shown numerous times on the show.
Yeah, but, a TiVo is *always* recording -- because of the live buffer, data is constantly being written to the hard drive, whether it is a recording that will be saved indefinitely, or only the last 30 minutes of live TV. So when exactly do you see good performance on TiVoToGo transfers?

"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
